A CRASH victim was taken to Aintree Hospital by helicopter with non life-threatening injuries after two cars collided in Meols.
Firefighters were called at around 1.30pm, on Sunday, to Heron Road and assisted paramedics carrying a man from one of the vehicels to a waiting ambulance.
He was later air-lifted to University Hospital Aintree.
Two others, a man and a woman, were outside the vehicles when emergency services arrived and were taken by ambulance to Arrowe Park Hospital.
Appliances from West Kirby and Upton fire stations attended along with the fire service’s Liverpool-based search and rescue team.
They had left the scene by 2.30pm.
