Wirral Council wants your views on local pharmacy services

Wirral Globe: Wirral Council wants your views on local pharmacy services Wirral Council wants your views on local pharmacy services

DO YOU think your local pharmacy provides a good service? Is it open when you need it, and does it offer health advice?

These are questions Wirral people can answer in a survey for the council undertaken as part of its new public health responsibilities.

A questionnaire is available on the council website seeking views on the helpfulness and location of pharmacies and the frequency with which people make use of them.

Councillor Chris Meaden, cabinet member for health and wellbeing, said: “The local pharmacy is often the first place residents will turn to when they have a concern about their health or that of their family.

“It is for this reason that it is important we look into the needs of Wirral’s population and how pharmacies can meet these needs.

“I would ask everyone to get involved and respond to this important survey, to help us shape the future of the service.”

The questionnaire is anonymous and should only take a few minutes to complete.

Results will be used to inform a review of the needs of local people and the ease of access to local pharmacy services.

It will be made available later in the year as part of a full public consultation on pharmacy services.

Are the council going to try and fix something that is not broken.I hope they leave well alone, enough damage has been done by their interference in matters.

Basically you tell us what chemist to close down, if it's an anonymous survey why the need for a postcode not very anonymous when the council knows every person related to postcodes and adults at that address
