ON SATURDAY, November 23, I was involved in a traffic accident at the junction of New Chester road and Port Causeway.
A gentleman andayoung lady came to my assistance.
They helped me get to the safety of the pavement and steadied me till I recovered my senses.
The young lady noticed I appeared to have an injury.
The gentleman phoned for an ambulance.
On hearing this I panicked and already deeply embarrassed I vacated the scene.
I think Imay have offered an apology.
But even so I had left the gentleman with the then problem of the ambulance.
I offer an apology once again and thank my helpers for their assistance.
I hope that the two Samaritans may read the letter and realise my actions were not out of ignorance but dishevelment and acute embarrassment.
