A MAN is fighting for life after being stabbed in Rock Ferry last night.
Detectives have arrested two men following the incident which happened at around 11.20pm on Sunday.
Officers attended Old Chester Road at its junction with Well Lane, and found a 38-year-old man who had suffered a number of stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital where he is in a critical condition.
Crime Scene Investigators are in attendance examining the scene, house-to-house enquiries are underway and patrols have been stepped up in the area.
One man has been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice, the other on suspicion of assault
