A WIRRAL man was attacked in his home by a gang of burglars.
Police were called to the scene in Mount Pleasant Road, Wallasey, at around 2.15pm last Saturday, August 10.
The 28-year-old victim was discovered with head and neck injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not life-threatening.
Officers say the burglars had assaulted the man and taken several items from the premises.
Three men, aged 19, 44 and 69, were later arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
The 19-year-old remains in custody while the other two have been bailed.
The investigation is ongoing.
