Concern growing for Wirral man who disappeared on way to work
4:13pm Monday 21st January 2013 in News By Craig Manning
John Ankers
CONCERN is growing for the safety of a Wirral man who has not been seen since leaving for work on Sunday morning.
John Ankers was last seen leaving his home address in Sandfield Road, Upton, at around 10.15am before travelling to work.
The 28-year-old did not turn up at work and has not been seen or been in contact since.
His disappearance is out of character.
John is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall of medium build with short, straight dark brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, white Ralph Lauren polo shirt, blue skinny fit jeans and black Van trainers with white soles.
John may have travelled to Birkenhead by bus on Sunday morning. He is also known to frequent the areas of Formby, Liverpool city centre, West Kirkby, Heswall, Royden Park and Thurstaston beach.
Police are urging John, or anyone who has seen him since yesterday to contact police on 101. Alternatively, call the Missing People charity on 116 000.
