Wirral road closed after body is found
POLICE were called to Raby Mere Road in Raby this morning following the discovery of a man's body.
Shortly after 7.15am by a passing motorist reported seeing a man hanging from tree close to the road.
Police and paramedics attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Raby Mere Road is closed in both directions and motorists are advised to avoid using this route while the emergency services are still on scene.
Enquiries are at an early stage in identifying the man and notifying his next of kin and the full circumstances surrounding his death will be investigated.
