I wish to congratulate Wirral Borough Council, Environment Agency, designer Aecom and contractor Vokerstevin for the magnificent standard of the new flood defence wall at West Kirby.
As a retired senior civil engineer at Salford Quays Redevelopment and various defence schemes in Britain, I am particularly impressed by the finished works and that it will provide an important contribution to the potential threat of Climate Change.
