THE council has just squandered £350,000 of rate payers' money on painting white circled 20mph signs across Birkenhead and Wirral.
Most of the road surfaces around Wirral are crumbling daily and this incompetent council has no system or plans in place to rectify the problems.
The council highways department is not fit for purpose as any repair implemented uses poor material and an inadequate finish, and it needs to be repaired again within days.
They have no system in place to monitors the standard of work.
The £350,000 should have been used to keep open vital libraries for the underprivileged children of Wirral, as many schools are struggling to provide essential material to their children for their future education.
