REGARDING a recent article by Ed Barnes in the Globe about the council deficit.
I have often wondered why schools do not have solar panels fitted.
Surely, with long areas of straight roofs, they would be ideal.
Maybe, they could offset a portion of their electricity needs.
As the man at Tesco says “every little helps”.
