A MASSIVE thank you to all those generous souls who sponsored volunteers taking part in the annual Wirral Walk to raise funds for the Wirral Group of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
So far, we have benefitted by about £7,000 and this figure will rise as money is still being sent in and we are delighted with this largesse.
Until a cure is found for the cruel disease, the need for funds to help those already diagnosed remains constant and the cost of just about everything is rising at an alarming rate.
We have a raft of other fundraising events planned to boost our coffers and anyone who wants to help in any way can find information on mndawirral.org or by contacting Tony Swarbrick (fundraising coordinator) on 07478 726650 or mndawirral@ outlook.com
