"Look again at reducing the number of Wirral councillors"
SO Wirral Council is looking for other things to help it save £20m it needs to escape its budget black hole.
It is five years since the "task and finish" group met, to see if it would be able to reduce the number of councillors to 44 from 66.
They concluded that no change was necessary! In view of the fact that we have not seen a councillor for four years!
My suggestion is that the “task and finish” group look again at reducing the number of councillors to 44.
