I'VE been concerned by the number of these e-scooters I’ve seen being ridden on roads in the past few weeks.
It looks an accident waiting to happen to me.
I spotted one riding around in the darkness on a public road – no helmet, no bright clothing, no light.
Another came whizzing down a narrow road before veering off on to the pavement to avoid an oncoming car. Good job there were no pedestrians in the way.
I thought I’d read warnings from Merseyside Police that it was illegal to ride these vehicles on the roads.
Can anyone provide more information on this – the local police perhaps?
