ANOTHER local newspaper recently reported on the uncertain future of Wallasey Town Hall.
This negative news reminded me of happier days in the life of the eminent edifice.
In the 1960s, the BBC Northern Dance Orchestra with Alan Ainsworth, Sheila Buxton and Robert Moffat, broadcast occasional radio programmes from the venue.
I have many memories of passing the premises while perambulating along the promenade between Seacombe and New Brighton in the 1970s.
