Wallasey tunnel toll booths
SINCE the introduction of payments by debit or credit card to travel through the Mersey Tunnels the queues have grown out of all proportion, as my friend and I witnessed the other day.
Fortunately, I use a Fast Tag and we were able to avoid the chaos.
May I suggest that Merseytravel mark specific lanes for card payments only which will enable the rest of the users to go about their business without the long delays. It would also cause less pollution in the process.
