WHY do none of the huge "traffic information" boards, hoisted some years back, ever give any traffic information?
There is nothing about "Claughton Road, Hemmingford Street junction, three-way lights, four weeks, delays" or "Bromborough Station temporary lights four weeks expect delays" or A41 Eastham, one lane shut southbound, four months while flower bed put in, queues at busy times”.
Most of the time they tell us to “Wash your hands, protect the NHS” or “In emergency ring 999”.
Unless we're new to Planet Earth, actually, we know this.
It has nothing to do with traffic at all, nor does any of what usually gets displayed.
I'm just waiting for "Big Brother Boris loves you, we know where you live".
