TOFFEE is tasty but bad for your teeth, coffee is cool but disturbs your sleep.

Beefsteaks and burgers may damage the heart, when it comes down to chocolate – don’t even start !

Chicken is fine, but cruel to farm, while too many eggs may do you some harm.

Biscuits and crisps, sugary tastes, melt on the tongue but reside on the waist.

Cholesterol climbs, blood vessels contract, not good for the health – ain't that a fact!

The liver’s undone with whisky and wine, a sip is ok but don’t cross the line.

Fish from the sea, fresh and fantastic, but wait! aren’t they now just full of waste plastic.

The veg in the fields from bugs are protected, pesticide sprayed to keep disinfected.

Thus we are warned to be wary and think, what’s good for us all to stay in the pink.

And still we eat on until we are sated, consuming such food that is contaminated.

Yet as I devour these facts I do find, one thought disturbs my questioning mind;

If all of our vitals are risky and wrong, why is it so many live for so long?
