I and my husband would like to say a grateful thank you to all the kind and caring people who assisted me after a very bad fall on a uneven flags in Oaksway, Gayton on Monday, February 8 at lunchtime.

I dislocated my left shoulder, broke my front teeth and Injured my face.

Thank you to the two window cleaners who called an ambulance.

They were so lovely and they stayed with us for a long time: the kind lady who brought me a blanket and the numerous kind people who stopped to see if they could offer assistance.

Thanks also to the couple who gave me their bottle of water.

A huge thank you to the two policemen who came on the scene and managed to get me up off the cold pavement, put me into their car and took us both home.

They then diverted the ambulance to our home address. I wish to thank Matt and Paul, the ambulance crew who were so kind and helpful then took me into Arrowe Park hospital.

The staff in A&E were both very kind and so patient with everyone, even with the constant pressure they were under.

We are extremely grateful to all the nursing staff, doctors, X-ray department and to Dr Chris Cowan who managed to put my shoulder back and relieved some of the awful pain.

A heart felt thank you to you all, there are so many nice kind people in this world for us to be grateful for.

Sincere thank you.
