I totally agree with the gentleman who wrote the letter Be Responsible regarding dogs bought during the pandemic.

Some dog owners don’t control their dogs or pick up after them or hang the poop bags on trees or bushes.

People do go on their mobiles so they don’t have to notice their dogs are pooping.

On TV recently it said that people are trying to sell dogs now as they realise they cannot cope or don’t want them anymore for various reasons and are trying to sell them on again.

The worst thing through all this is that dog breeders are charging astronomical amounts for puppies and taking advantage of people, we have had dogs all our lives and the prices do go up a bit but this is ridiculous.

We lost our dog just before Christmas and don’t mind paying a fair price for a puppy when we are ready to have another but not to pay £2,000-£2,500 and sometimes more.

I just hope that female dogs are not being made to have one litter after another just for profits.
