I saw the story Wirral residents should stay at home and avoid beauty spots and thought "this is a little late".

Throughout this pandemic and tiers and lockdowns my husband and I have abided by the Covid Ruling, but when out walking, shopping and on the news, you see so many people that obviously don’t and have a "don't care" attitude.

In the story it says avoid beauty spots and stay locally to exercise, but what if you live on the busy tourist areas that get bombarded on nice days and weekends?

The Government has said if a place is too busy go somewhere else.

So that is what we do. We go inland.

It is slightly busier than normal, but definitely quieter than the coast, country parks, local parks and New Brighton.

The traffic coming and going to Wirral has been ridiculous.

It makes you wonder how far people travel to come to our coast.

They can’t all be from Wirral.

With the Wirral postcodes being at one time CH then L then CH again where does the Wirral Boundary and Cheshire start?

One lady said to me we are from Ellesmere Port but it’s all Wirral really anyway.

Perhaps we need signs on the M53 to say "Welcome to Cheshire" when outward bound.
