IN the UK we follow the US popular culture like fools.
The so called mischief night is a case in point.
Last week’s Globe reported a reduction in criminal damage on the night of October 30.
This is an example of embracing this nonsensical title and giving this sad occasion an identity.
Dont give it a name and it just may die out. Keep doing so and it will perpetuate.
The saying give a dog a bad name is age old wisdom.
