USERS of Brimstage Road between Heswall and the M53 will have noticed the increase of cyclists during the recent coronavirus period.
Cyclists are attracted to this part of Wirral since it shares a section of the National Cycle Network adjacent Brimstage Village.
Due to the large number of sharp bends on this narrow road the poor visibility to drivers puts the lives of cyclists at high risk.
As a matter of urgency the Wirral Council needs to reduce the speed limit from 50 to 40 mph and the section through Brimstage Village to 20 mph.
