I HAVE been trying since the end of July to get Wirral Council to remove fly tipped rubbish from the alley behind my house.

The pile of rubbish is growing and has now attracted swarms of green bottle flies which have invaded my garden.

I am no longer able to use my garden as a result.

This situation is causing me huge anxiety and stress.

The alley is supposed to be regularly inspected and cleansed and kept clear for the use of emergency vehicles in the event of fire.

It is obvious that no such inspection or cleaning has been undertaken in this alley for many, many months.

The weeds are really tall now and prior to this current problem, I have observed a trampoline and part of a corrugated roof which were dumped there over a year ago and have still not been removed.

The Council simply are not taking this matter seriously enough I want them to clear the alley properly as a matter of urgency and to find the perpetrators and prosecute them, or this will just happen again.

The majority of the rubbish which is causing the current problem is dumped outside just one property.

How hard can it be?
