CAN I say a huge thank you to the two young people who stopped their car and went out of their way to help me when I came off my bike on a particularly greasy patch of road in Greasby a week last Saturday.

They gave me an ice pack and an antiseptic wipe for my face and when it started raining again stood with an umbrella over me until my wife came to pick me up.

I was too shaken up to ask their names so I hope they read this and know how much I appreciated their help.

Another thanks to Arrowe Park Hospital staff who, in clinic nine, gave me a good looking over and arranged for a follow up check - you were also brilliant!
