GLYPHOSATE (Roundup) which is used to kill ‘weeds’, is harmful to life. Roundup is toxic, and anyone handling or spraying it is advised to wear full protective clothing to prevent contamination.
We have never seen a Wirral Borough Council worker in a chemical suit when spraying glyphosate.
Not only are the workers at risk of lymphoma cancers, so potentially is every person breathing in the droplets.
WBC say they will continue using glyphosate Roundup until December 2022. It is WBC’s duty to protect the public and the environment.
They must stop using glyphosate now. Grassy places may look unsightly, but they are preferable to a carcinogenic chemical being sprayed in our midst.
