I have really appreciated being able to walk around our local parks and coastal areas in recent months and would like to thank Wirral Council for their diligence in facilitating this in relative safety.
However, I do have a negative point to make inasmuch as I undertake these outings with some apprehension as to how both cyclists and walkers can safely access these areas with equal confidence.
I should like to suggest that the obligatory use of a bell, by cyclists, would go some way to alleviate this issue.
I'd be interested in the thoughts of others, cyclists and pedestrians, on this matter.
