WENT for a walk on Saturday along Egremont coastline and it was gorgeous weather and lots of people out having lovely walk.
I noticed people queuing up outside "the ferry" pub for take away beers.
Sunday night I went for another walk at same place enjoyed a stroll on the beach and my kids made sandcastles.
It was really lovely.
Until we turned a corner and found loads of plastic beer cups just left on the beach.
It was so sad.
During lockdown people have been talking about how the earth has been improving and then how quickly that will be forgotten once we carry on with our day to day lives.
Such a shame that the easing of lockdown would have this immediate effect on our beaches.
