I and my family were at the dips in New Brighton on Saturday, May 30, trying out a new tent.
We had a little picnic cup of tea.
Later on a group of about 18 20 youths drove their cars on the field.
Drinking spirits. beer, balloons, 'Hippy crack', swearing and just making themselves look a bit daft.
Two police horse patrols told them to get the cars off the field.
They did.
A police Land Rover just drove past them and was subject to abuse. The police did nothing.
These lads should have had a warning and told to go as it doesn’t fill you with confidence knowing nothing is going to happen to them.
People just started to pack up and home.
A good day spoilt by a gang of no marks.
