WE are an elderly couple who have been enjoying daily walks in the spring sunshine.

We have no difficulty giving a wide berth to the few other walkers that we encounter, but do have a problem with some cyclists who come pedalling along the pavement at some speed and, because they are riding and we are merely walking, expect us to scramble out of their way and let them pass.

One nearly knocked my wife over.

If we do catch the dreaded virus, it will probably be from a Covidiot like him.

Pavements are for pedestrians, cyclists should be on the road.
