I HAVE two questions to ask of certain residents.
Firstly, does the idiot who dumped an old divan bed and mattress at the Marsh Lane entrance to Storeton Woods not know that the Clatterbridge Household Waste Centre is just a mile down the road?
Why would anyone spoil a beauty spot in this way?
Secondly, do drivers of cars, vans and lorries not realise that, at this time of year, if grass verges are driven over they produce deep, muddy, unsightly ruts ruts that have to be filled in and re-seeded.
The grass verges of Bebington are part of the charm and beauty of this part of Wirral.
Pete Edwards, Bebington
