IN reference to the subject of dogs being allowed on buses, I totally agree with the comments from 'Oxton resident' regarding the fact that people with asthma may not be able to tolerate having a dog in a confined space, which could cause an asthma attack.
This is not a case of 'being more tolerant' (as another reader stated), it's just for dog owners to understand the plight of allergy sufferers.
But some aren't happy having a dog near them in an eating place.
A lot of dog owners are responsible, but I agree there are some who aren't, but nothing gets done about it.
Half of the population are not dog lovers, so it would be nice if those people could understand where we are coming from.
