I READ, with interest, the letter in your Opinions page regarding Lights too bright.
We also live in Bromborough and have a street light opposite our house, which could double up as a flood light for Tranmere Rovers.
I have reported this a number of times both by phone and on the Lighting Dept website, but to no avail.
Their web site actually states that “Street lights are focused on roads and pavements and not on residential properties”. Well, in this case, that certainly isn’t true.
The light seems to be not only very bright but also at the wrong angle.
It is tilted up to face our house and not angled to face the floor.
I would be most grateful to hear from anyone in Wirral Council’s lighting department who could fix this problem.
