I WAS horrified at the article on your front page regarding the accident and emergency department at Arrowe Park Hospital and feel it is totally unjust.

I had to go as an emergency last year and this.

I found the staff so efficient, caring and professional.

Yes, I had to wait, but knew they were doing their best as beds are in short supply.

My daughter and her husband took a team of doctors, teaching and teachers out to Elobet in Kenya to an orphanage, but when the townspeople knew they were they formed a queue to see a doctor - 847 people!

Some had walked 10 miles to see a doctor.

We don’t know how blessed we are with our NHS.

Appreciate what we have and waiting is not in our way of life.

Let us thank the wonderful caring staff and not throw spanners into the works.

I remember paying half-a-crown to see a doctor.
