THANKS to the Globe in helping to locate former Wirral Grammar pupils, the 1960-1965 year group have now booked the Village Hotel, Bromborough, for a celebration of our 70th birthdays.
This will take place on Sunday, June 30, starting with a drinks reception from 6pm, followed by a buffet. The evening will finish off with a performance by a band half of whom were part of our year group who will mainly play 60’s music.
There will be a few optional activities on the Monday morning, but the reunion will end with a farewell meal/snack at the Three Stags in Bebington. Old school photographs will be available to view and name badges will be provided.
If you were part of the 1960-65 year group and want to know more please contact me at drt2402@aol.com.
We can provide a code giving a 10% discount on accommodation at the venue. All are welcome to bring a guest.
David Tyrrell, Bebington
