IT would appear that the Fire Brigade have no respect for the community at Saughall Massie upon which they have forced themselves.
These public servants should have some respect for the 4,000- plus signature opposing their move from Upton, away from their area of greater need.
Surely, naming the station the "Dan Stevens Escaping to Australia Memorial Station" would have been far more appropriate.
The Fire Brigade's naming convention shows no respect for the view of community they profess to serve.
Perhaps the new chief fire officer did not ask the appropriate questions when he was given the job.
