HAVING been involved in preparing a petition to oppose the development of Pershore House Field, I have been extremely disappointed with the contempt shown to residents by both the planning department and planning committee.

The residents understood that some development would be allowed, but not to the extent of cramming twenty eight four bedroomed homes.

Wirral Council has a clear policy that any proposal should relate well to surrounding properties in particular relating to densities.

On this development they have crammed properties on with a complete disregard to the mature residential properties.

Residents will now face a wall of brick with little space between the properties.

When will the council and their councillors actually represent the residents of Wirral?

They have certainly failed to understand any of the representations made by the residents on this planning application.
