THE gull breeding season is almost upon us and we will return to the sleepless nights, woken up in the early hours by the cacophony of screeches.
Two men from Wirral were fined recently when they killed gulls as they couldn't stand the noise any more.
Gulls desperately need culling as there are far too many and they are an absolute nuisance.
Here in West Kirby the duck pond in Ashton Park is the gull lake now and every rooftop is adorned with the yellow eyed monsters.
It really is time to cut the numbers drastically and restore some quality of life to the residents.
