ANOTHER dark and dismal winter’s day, with lowering storm clouds rolling in from the west bringing more wind and rain to Wirral’s shores.
So, I ask you, who on earth thought it would be a good idea to paint Parkgate's Ship Hotel a dull shade of grey?
Just imagine how dreary Parkgate would look if all the other buildings along its front were also coloured grey.
Would a uniformly grey Tobermory retain its appeal?
Would Llandudno’s promenade be as impressive were its many hotels all painted grey?
Would tourists still flock to the Cote D’Azur if the predominant colour of its towns and villages were battleship grey?
I think not. Why must we cover our walls with it?
