Though it does not seem believable, the 2017 season is nearly over.

In the Birkenhead and Wirral League's 1st division Gladstone currently have a big lead but their main rivals, Tixall, have a game in hand and what appears to be a slightly easier run in.

It should be an exciting finish.

This position is mirrored in division 'A' of the Bebington League where the two teams are again vying for top spot.

In the second division of the Birkenhead League Heswal RBL 'B' seem to be heading back to the first division and Levers are the clear favourites to take the division three title.

Poulton have a big lead in the fourth division and this makes it a good season for the Poutlton Club as they are already the Wallasey League's third division champions.

In the Wallasey Association's division one the winners for the past few years, New Brighton Queens Royal, have a commanding lead with West Kirby Victoria currently in second place.
