JOHN Jones became the latest player to win the Flyers on his first visit of this session.
He played very well throughout the morning and thoroughly deserved his victory.
In the quarter finals he beat Peter Smith before proving to be too good for the current leader of the points table Eddie Dutton in the semi.
In the meantime Bob Hodgson had got the better of Colin Mounsey in the quarters before he sneaked home by the narrowest of margins against Rob Lewis in their semi final.
In the final Hodgson tried hard but Jones yet again had a fairly comfortable win.
Though losing in the semi final Eddie Dutton went even further ahead in the points table.

All players should note that as of next Sunday, November 22, the Flyers are moving to the greens in Arrowe Park. Play will still commence at 10am.
