OXTON'S Lewis Hill hit 82 as they declared on 183-8 in their Cheshire County Premier League clash at Chester Boughton Hall. 

Jordan Collier's 4-12 put then put the hosts under immense pressure but they held on for a draw as they closed on 112-8.

Didsbury declared on 239-7 against Neston with the visitors making 180 all out in reply thanks mainly to skipper David Hurst's 73. 

In Division Two, Port Sunlight's Martin Naylor took 3-9 as Congleton were dismissed for 161 before Port registered a two wicket win.

Vensakar Kanthiraj (3-18) was the pick of the bowlers for Maritime who bowled out Ashton-on-Mersey for 104 with Sawan Prabash Suwani Kankanange's unbeaten 51 sealing an eight wicket victory. 

Upton were bowled out for 80 in their Division Three game at Heaton Mersey but rain stopped play before the hosts could reply. 

The first round of the Cheshire Shield took over on Sunday with Upton's Chris McCarthur hitting 141 and Matt Owen (87) powering their side to a total of 276-3 against Prestbury who closed on 142-6. 

Maritime made 212 all out against Northwich who were restricted to 175 all out in reply thanks to Vishal Barigela (4-33) and Thisal Jayawardana (3-41).

Nauman Akram took 5-18 as Parkfield Liscard beat Warrington by four wickets.
