VAUXHALL Motors FC have secured a hat-trick of new signings as manager Danny Holmes looks to bolster his squad.

Vita Mbolokele, 27, Nick Rushton, 32, and Jawad Jebrin, 21, have all arrived at the VanEupen Arena ahead of the new season.

Mbolokele was the first to be unveiled to fans on social media as his permanent transfer from Ruthin Town was confirmed.

The centre half was a staple in the Town line up, appearing in all but two league games last season.

Holmes said: “I'm delighted to get the big man in. He's very underrated and has grown under the coaching staff at Ruthin Town.”

The club also confirmed the signing of Rushton from Airbus following his contract coming to an end.

The attacking midfielder has enjoyed a career spent mostly in the Welsh football system with stints at Connahs Quay, Newtown, Airbus and most notably Wrexham, as well as a short stint at Colwyn Bay where he briefly spent time working alongside his new manager.

Rushton said: “Coming back to a club that’s round the corner from my home will be something new for me and I’m quite excited to get back to playing local again.”

Finally, the Motormen were able to secure the signature of Jebrin from City of Liverpool FC. In the past the winger has played for Witton Albion and Lower Breck having honed his skills at the Robbie Fowler College.

Holmes appeared extremely happy with the new signings and added: “We’ve built a solid foundation now so it’s just about adding those one or two that we still need to get in now.”
