VAUXHALL Motors FC midfielder Michael Burkey has left the club to join fellow Northern Premier League West Division outfit Bootle.
Burkey has spent the previous five seasons with the Ellesmere Port-based club, helping them to promotion into the Northern Premier League West Division last season.
He links back up with his former Motors’ manager Mick McGraa, who took over the reins at Bootle in September.
The midfielder will go into contention for the Bucks’ next game away at 1874 Northwich on Saturday.
A statement released by Vauxhall Motors FC said: "The club can confirm that Michael Burkey has joined Bootle FC.
"We’d like to thank Michael for the past five years and wish him all the best for the future."
