A WIRRAL cricket club is hosting a women's softball festival this weekend.
Old Parkonians, based in Holm Lane, Oxton, are welcoming a number of teams to their ground on Sunday, September 3 from 1pm-5pm.
Teams including Old Parkonians, Sefton Park and Birkenhead Park are among those taking part.
People are welcome to come along to watch an afternoon of cricket in a family-friendly environment providing fun for all including a BBQ and a bouncy castle.
Earlier that morning, the Oxton Parkonians junior rugby section are holding a free rugby fun day running frpm 11am to 1pm.
The event will give children aged five-years-old and above an introduction to tag and contact rugby. Inflatables, a BBQ and a tuck shop are available.
