WIRRAL CC fell to a 70 run defeat to Over Peover in Division One of the Cheshire Cricket League.
Sam Morley-Mason took 3-25 as Over Peover made 198-9 from their 45 overs with Wirral replying with 128-8.
In Division Three, Tranmere Victoria were bowled out for 75 by Aston with the visitors chasing down the target for the loss of four wickets.
In the Southport and District Amateur Cricket League, Birkenhead St Mary's were bowled out for 160 by Merseyside Commonwealth Conference with 48 from Mike Bowe the highlight. MCC lost six wickets in reaching the target.
