NESTON won a low-scoring thriller in their Cheshire County Premier League clash with Nantwich.

Batting first, Neston were dismissed for just 98 but Chris Dixon (4-21) and Ashley Davis (4-40) ensured a five run win. 

Three wickets apiece for Oxton's Jordan Collier (3-31), Chris Stenhouse (3-40) and Henry Dobson (3-46) restricted Brooklands to 166 all out before Luke Filer (63) and Dobson (53) steered the visitors to a four wicket win. 

Port Sunlight suffered a heavy defeat in their Division Two game with Hale Barnes after they were bowled out for 104. The hosts reached the target for the loss of one wicket. 

Maritime are top of Division Three after Kalhara Sinhage (75) and Vensakar Kanthiraj (63no) took the hosts to 231-6 against Tattenhall. Vishal Barigela then took 4-4 as the visitors crumbled to 75 all out. 

Upton won an exciting game at Barrow after Phil McGowan's 4-32 restricted the hosts to 192-7. Dan Owen's unbeaten 55 was the highlight as Upton reached the target for the loss of eight wickets.
