In Division Two, Port Sunlight had time to bowl visitors Stockport out for 145 with James Roberts (4-62), Simon Melberzs (3-32) and Martin Naylor (3-17) in the wickets.
Division Three leaders, Maritime, did manage a result after they reached 188 all out against Warrington who finished on 54-4 in a drawn game.
Luca Di Stefano hit 48 for Upton as they made 132-5 against Heaton Mersey before the game was abandoned.
