NESTON are top of the Cheshire County Premier League by one point after beating Widnes by seven wickets.
Luke Jones (5-22) and Ashley Davis (3-36) combined to bundle out the visitors for just 103 before David Hurst (33) top scored with the bat.
Oxton are seventh following a thrilling two wicket victory over Toft. Chris Stenhouse took 4-67 as the visitors made 224-8 from their 55 overs. An opening stand of 152 between Luke Filer (71) and Henry Dobson (72) put Oxton in a commanding position but a middle order collapse saw them scrape over the line with just two balls remaining.
In Division Two, Port Sunlight's Matthew Hodgson took 4-47 as Chrisleton reached 211-9 off their 50 overs. Tyler Stagg top scored with 38 as the visitors closed on 151-8 in a drawn game.
Maritime lost a thriller in Division Three after Ashley made 182-9 with Gavasker Kanthiraj (3-44) the pick of the bowlers. Opener M Niffy struck 54 but the Wirral side fell an angonising three runs short of the winning target.
Another close game saw Upton's Sophie Morris (3-34) and Rich Battersby (3-22) help bowl Oakmere out for 152. Skipper Matt Owen's 40 put Upton on course for victory but they were eventually bowled out for 141.
