NESTON'S 100% record in this season's Cheshire County Premier League ended with a home draw against Alderley Edge.
The visitors compiled a massive total of 331-6 from 55 overs with Ashley Davis (3-61) the pick of the bowlers. Dane Williams (65) and Simon Stokes (58) kept the Alderley bowlers at bay to finish on 244-6.
Oxton won a tight game against Nantwich after Luke Filer (5-43) and Jordan Collier (3-47) restricted the Dabbers to 173 all out. As wickets fell around him Henry Dobson carried his bat with an unbeaten 86 to ensure a two wicket win.
In Division Two, Port Sunlight travelled to Noth East Cheshire who posted 222-7. Tyler Stagg hit 68 but the Wirral outfit were left hanging on at 140-9 in a drawn game.
Maritime got the better of Upton in the Wirral derby in Division Three. Vishal Barigela's 3-25 helped keep Upton to 131-7 before the hosts claimed a seven wicket win.
Sunday saw Cheshire Cup action across the region with Neston losing at Alsager and Port Sunlight exiting at Didsbury.
