CHESHIRE Cricket League Division One side Wirral lost their first four batters for ducks as they attempted to reply to Peover's total of 220.

A battling 56 by Sam O'Connell added some respectability to proceedings but the visitors were bowled out for 105. Earlier Ian Mahers (3-38), Dominic Develing (3-31) and Andrew Slight (3-26) had taken three wickets apiece.

Old Parkonians restricted Wooford to 150-7 before Saad Saeed (54) and Daniel Berkson (53no) sealead a five wicket win.

In Division Three, Charitha Athauda took 3-10 as Aston were bowled out for 88 by Tranmere Victoria. That was as good as it got for Vics who were bundled out for just 43. 

Burton won a thriller at Kerridge after Martyn Powell's 45 helped them reach 133-9. 10 man Kerridge were bowled out for 132 with Alex Hind (2-2) taking the final wicket.
